Oyster Farm Tours

Immerse yourself

Join Laura, owner and operator of Fox Point Oysters, on a unique tour of Fox Point Oysters farm and learn about oyster farming first hand! Prepare to get salty and muddy as we dig into what life on the oyster farm is really like. We will be wading in waist deep water to explore the farm, learn how to shuck and choose your own dozen oysters to sample and take home and enjoy. Tours last about 1-2 hours. Participants must provide their own clothing and shoes. Old sneakers that tie tight or water shoes recommended.

I have scheduled a limited number of select tour dates this year during July and August to co-inside with tides and warmer temperature when shorts and a tee are considered perfect attire.

*Please note: Oyster farming is a dirty business. You will get muddy, you will get salty and your will have a great time. We will try to make special accommodations if strength or balance are an issue while walking on muddy, uneven surfaces.
